No Limits! - 3/26 Newsletter

Monday just flew by... but it was a pretty busy weekend! We came together to make signs for the upcoming Black Women's March! Thanks to the AJ Williams-Myers African Roots Library for letting us use the space!

If you haven't RSVPd for the Black Women’s March, make sure you do, soon. Better yet, NOW. Lisa & Callie are busy trying to coordinate all the carpools!

There’s a lot brewing here at Rise Up Kingston - There's no limits to what we can all do here. We’ve been meeting with community members, community leaders, and elected officials to talk about good ways to move forward towards an Ethical Community Economy here in Kingston.

I know, I know, WHO IS WE? Over the next few weeks, you’ll get to meet the Rise Up Kingston Staff, Board, and have an opportunity to plug into some more good work in the community.

In the meantime, right now, we have some really important volunteer needs:

  • Data Entry
  • Phonebanking
  • Social Media Graphic Design
  • Sign Preparation For Black Women’s March

It takes a village to Rise Up! Let us know if you can help out this week or next.

Chag Sameach! Happy Easter!

In Solidarity,
